Szia Budapestrol!   (Greetings from Budapest)

I'm happy to report that all 23 of us made it to Budapest safe and sound (and a bit tired) to Budapest today.   19 of us made it to the Professor's Guest House by 1 pm Hungarian time (6 am in Minnesota) and the remaining 4 rolled in a bit later.   It was a clear, windy 39 degree day here and a number of students took advantage of the free time in the afternoon to hike to the top of nearby Gellert Hill for a panoramic view of the city.   Expect to see some pictures from this excursion soon.   This evening we had an excellent group meal at Marcello's a nearby restaurant.   After a long day of travel it looks like many of us will be hitting the hay early tonight to get ready for a full day tomorrow: A walking tour of Budapest in the morning followed by our first taste of Number Theory in the afternoon.
